    If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.


    • Day 01. Bandaranaike Airport To Waikkala

      Travel duration – 0.5 hour

      Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike Airport, your driver welcomes you. You are greeted by the tropical air of this magical island, and for your first destination your drive to Waikkal, to a seaside resort near the airport and therefore ideal for resting after a long flight. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 02. Waikkal To Sigiriya

      Travel duration – 4 hours

      In the morning, discover the Negombo fish market, very famous in the whole country. Negombo includes one of the largest fishing communities of the island. Walking near the shore where they moor their catamaran and the beaches where the fish is salted and dried, Negombo is ideal for a first immersion with the local population.

      You then take the road to the Cultural Triangle. You could make a stop at Kurunegala to climb to the top of the gigantic Athagala Buddha. Take the opportunity to enjoy a local crepe called “rotti”! Check in to your hotel in Sigiriya. Dinner at the hotel (included).


    • Day 03. Sigiriya

      Travel duration – 1 hour

      Early in the morning to avoid the crowds, go to climb Sigiriya’s “Rock of Lion”, whose massive rock overlooks the village with its 200 meters height. Your guide will make you discover the different parts of the site: the gardens, the Natural caves, including the frescoes of the Demoiselles, the ruins of the Kasyapa Palace at the top, classified at UNESCO, it is the most visited site in Sri Lanka.

      After lunch (at leisure) go on an excursion to Polonnaruwa by bike. This ancient city was the royal capital of Sri Lanka during the eleventh and twelfth centuries, and extends over ten km2. Visit the ruins of palaces, temples, but especially Kalu Gal Vihara, a set of 4 statues of Buddha carved in granite. Dinner at the hotel (included).


    • Day 04. Sigiriya To Madulkelle

      Travel duration – 3 hours

      Your last stop in the Cultural Triangle is Dambulla, where you will visit the Dambulla Golden Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its Buddhist caves perched on top of a hill, where you can see murals. statues of Buddha and dagobas, all scattered in 5 caves. From the mountain top you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the surroundings.

      You can then take the road to the Knuckle Mountains to reach your ecolodge, located in an exceptional setting. Enjoy the quiet surrounding and a moment at the pool to relax. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 05. Madulkelle

      Have breakfast with breathtaking views of the Knuckle Mountains. Then go for a walk through the plantations to meet the tea pickers. Many activities are offered by the hotel: trekking, fishing, swimming in fresh water, visit of a tea factory, traditional course of cuisine. In the afternoon, go to meet the “Children’s Club” association to discover the extraordinary work that volunteers do for the community. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 06. Madulkelle To Kandy

      Travel duration – 1 hour

      Today take the road to Kandy, the last royal capital of the island, which preserves an aristocratic atmosphere. After settling into your hotel, you will discover the city center on foot, starting with a visit to the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred Buddhist temple. The site, which is richly decorated, houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. You could continue by a walk around the lake (about 4km) and end with the market. Next, visit the 60-hectare Peradeniya Botanical Garden on the banks of the Mahaweli River. Do not miss the royal palm alley, the cannonball trees, the orchid collection, the multicolored flower beds. This garden offers a very nice walk of about 2 hours. At the end of the day, attend a show of traditional dances. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 07. Kandy To Ella

      Travel duration – 5 hours

      Today embark in a spectacular train journey. In front of your eyes parade the most beautiful landscapes of Sri Lanka. Your driver will pick you up at the Nanu Oya station to continue to Ella. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 08. Ella

      Many hikes are possible around Ella according to your physical level. We recommend the ascent of Little Adam’s Peak, accessible to all. Count 2 hours round trip. For the more athletic, you have the opportunity to climb the Ella Rock. Count 4 good hours round trip. Enjoy the magnificent panorama from each summit. Then go to the Halpewatte tea factory where you will learn more about the work of the pickers and the making of this national beverage so appreciated in the world. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 09. Ella To Udawalwe

      Travel duration – 2 hours

      Today take the road south to the more arid area of Udawalawe. After settling at your hotel, enjoy the quiet surrounding to relax. In the afternoon, you will go for the jeep safari through this grassy park, which is worth seeing for its elephant population and abundance of birds. You can also see crocodiles, bears, sambars, monitor lizards, and even leopards for the lucky ones. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 10. Udawalwe To Weligama

      Travel duration – 3 hours

      Before heading out for your seaside holiday, you could visit the Elephant transit home where they care for elephants before releasing them to the Udawalawe National Park. Afterwards, take the road along the south coast where you can admire many hidden beauties. Your driver will drop you off at your villa near the beautiful Weligama Bay. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 11. Weligama

      Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of your hotel and the beach directly accessible from the hotel to relax. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 12. Weligama

      Travel duration – 1 hour

      Wake up at dawn to reach Mirissa Harbor from where you set out on an exceptional excursion: a blue whale watching cruise from Sri Lanka. This walk takes about 4 hours. A snack will be served on board. You return to the hotel for an afternoon of relaxation or activities. Do not miss to enjoy a good fresh fish or seafood with your feet dipped in the sand. Dinner at leisure.


    • Day 13. Weligama To Bandaranaike Airport

      Travel duration – 3 hours

      Before reaching the airport, you can make a stop at Galle, an architectural jewel with various colonial influences. Totally disconnected from the rest of the city, the fort, built in the 17th century by the Dutch, looks like a peaceful and welcoming village. You will appreciate the ramparts, but also the lighthouse, the churches as well as the numerous small shops. Take the opportunity to stock up on souvenirs before heading to the international airport.
