      Tea Factory & Field Visit & Self  Experience of tea Pluking

      Visit a Tea Factory and a plantation where you would see how the world’s famous “Ceylon Tea” is manufactured. In 1824 a tea plant was brought to Ceylon by the British from China and was planted in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya for non-commercial purposes. James Taylor was a British citizen who introduced commercial tea plantation in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). He arrived to Sri Lanka in 1852 and settled down in Loolecondera estate in Kandy. Today even people who have never heard of Sri Lanka are familiar with Ceylon tea, which is known for its quality.

      Nuwara Eliya City Tour

      Visit the highland city that was the premium holi day resort town of the British in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Enjoy walking through the streets with their pretty little cottages, quaint villas and beautiful mansions.       After Breakfast proceed to Horton plains National Park. it takes approximatlely 02 hrs Journey. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and take a guided walk along the nature trails to a viewpoint known as World’s End.The scenery is beautiful We trek through the rolling grasslands, seeing forest and unusual wildlife, such as the sambar deer and purple faced monkey,Nature trails ,Such as Bakers falls,Chimney pool,Red Bridge all the way to ‘World’s End’, one of the most stunning sights in Sri Lanka.

      After breakfast proceed to Dazzling Ella Tourist Town by spending 02 hrs journey.

      Ella – Paradise with beauty

      Ella is a small village in the highlands of Sri Lanka which is filled with tea estates, mountains, waterfalls and of course with some good air to breath.

      Lots of people make Ella as one of their must visit destination just to witness the breathtaking views it creates. It is a dream place for many trekkers with some of the best hikes the Island provides. This hidden village got vastly popular among the tourists lately.

      Views of mist and clouds covering the summits of the mountain range and the morning sun rise in Ella are spectacular scenes to witness and captured.

    • DAY 5 ELLA>TISSAMAHARAMA

      Travel duration 03 hrs

      After Breakfast proceed to Tissamaharama by spending 04 hrs Journey.On the way to Tissamaharama,we can visit the Buduruwagala rock Temple.

      Buduruwagala – The Rock of Sculptures

      Buduruwagala means “rock of Buddhist sculptures” and is aptly named as there are seven figures carved on the rock. The largest of these is a Buddha statue standing at an impressive 51 feet in a stance known as the “Abhaya Mudra”. The rock on which these images have been carved has an interesting shape – almost like a kneeling Elephant with its head bent towards the earth and is about 300 feet wide and 7 feet high.

      Afterwards we directly proceed  Tissamaharama to enjoy the evening jeep safari in Yala National Park.

      Yala National Park.

      This amazing three-hour Safari offers the opportunity to visit Yala National Park, the second largest in the island based off the Southeastern coast of Sri Lanka. Get a chance to see the famous Sri Lankan leopards, indigenous wild water buffalo, Sri Lankan Sloth Bear and large herds of Sri Lankan Elephants. This park is famous for its elephants seen in all their playfulness, whole herds of them bathing and playing in the water while feeding their babies. The park is also home to many other species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates.

      After Breakfast we proceed to Bentota,On the way we can enjoy with below activities.

       Stilt Fishermen

      Watch the captivating sight of fishermen perched on stilts in the waters along the coast of Koggala. Hear the stories of how stilt fishing came to Sri Lanka, from the mouths of the fishermen who have practiced the craft for generations. Learn how the stilt fishing is done in detail and marvel at the level of skill that goes into it. Get some amazing photographs of the fishermen silhouetted against the shoreline at sunset.

      Handunugoda Tea Factory (Optional)

      Visit Handunugoda Tea Factory which is also known as the Virgin White Tea Factory. Learn the history of the tea that this factory produces. Get to know how the famous Virgin White Tea is plucked and processed completely untouched by human hands. Engage in a tasting session with a delicious cup of tea and scrumptious chocolate cake. Get a chance to purchase some tea leaves as a souvenir.

      Galle Fort Guided Walking Tour

      Explore the secrets of Galle where the Portuguese and Dutch made their headquarters. Visit the Galle Fort which is one of the best preserved fortifications in Asia. View the museums of Galle and the lighthouse. Walk through the cobblestoned streets with their Dutch names and listen to your guide tell their stories. Relax with a king coconut or a cup of tea caressed by a breeze of the tropics.

    • DAY 7 BENTOTA > AMBALANGODA> BENTOTA

      Travel duration 01 hour

      After breakfast proceed to Ambalangoda 48 kms and approximately 02 hours journey. Please note that visits, sightseeing and stops are not considered calculating the duration.

      Visit Ambalangoda Mask museum

      The mask library is the only one of its kind in Sri Lanka. It has anthropological records on the history of mask making and the traditional performances for which masks are used in Sri Lanka. It is a treasure trove of knowledge for history lovers and has to be visitedAmbalangoda and its mask museum are fun and unique places to visit with sunny white beaches and interesting cultural quirks.

      En route visit Kosgoda turtle hatchery

      Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery on the Southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. Learn more about the five endangered sea turtle species that come to the shores of Sri Lanka to nest. Learn how the Kosgoda Turtle Care Program helps protect the nests until they hatch and increases the chances of survival for the babies. Get a chance to see, touch and feed baby turtles; or even injured adult turtles that the Turtle Hatchery cares for.

      Go on a wonderful two-hour boat ride down the Madu River with its flourishing ecosystem. Pass through the secretive passages created by the mangroves. See the basking crocodiles and water monitors. Visit one of the small islands with its cinnamon harvesting natives. Enjoy the restorative qualities of the famous fish massage. Observe the waterbirds in their natural habitats.
